Make A Difference

ICAN depends on your caring and generosity to help animals in need.  Click on the photo  above to donate monthly or to make a one-time donation, via our “Canada Helps.Org” link.  Other donation methods including e-transfer and PayPal are available on our Donations page.

We rely on fundraising and the caring of people just like you, to help support the services we provide to the Columbia Valley.  Every gesture, every gift, every person and every organization who takes the time to help in some way is “Someone Who Cares” and you do MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Fostering for ICAN

Foster guardianship is an opportunity to make a difference in an animal’s life.
Sharing in the welfare of animals in need, and seeing the results of your efforts as healthy, nurtured animals find their forever homes, also makes a joyful difference in foster families lives.

We are looking for caring, compassionate individuals or families in the Invermere area who have space in their home and love in their heart to provide a temporary home to a needy companion animal.  We supply all the essentials so there is no cost to you!  Email or call us to inquire about helping us, help them!     Foster Home Application

Adopt A Companion

Each animal that comes into our care is integrated slowly into the ICAN facility to ensure they are healthy, and comfortable with other animals, children and people in general.

All adoptions require a completed application and an interview with an ICAN representative. All applicants are carefully screened to ensure our animals are placed in the best possible home.
ICAN encourages all members of the family to participate in the selection of a companion animal.
