Our Mission

To Advocate, Educate, and Provide for the health and well-being of companion animals in our community.

ADVOCATING for the humane and ethical treatment of companion animals.

EDUCATING the community on the behavioral, emotional and physical needs of companion animals.

PROVIDING for companion animals directly via the shelter and indirectly by facilitating care and homes via other avenues.


Our Constitution

The name of the Society is; INVERMERE COMPANION ANIMAL NETWORK SOCIETY.
 The purpose(s) of the Society is (are):
a) to assist and provide humane care and treatment for companion animals in need within the Columbia
Valley;
b) to address the overpopulation of companion animals;
c) to educate the public on the humane care and treatment of companion animals;
d) to raise funds for our sustainability through donations, fundraising and grants; and
e) such other purposes as are necessary or ancillary to the fulfillment of the foregoing purposes.
