On Sunday, June 28th, 2020 ICAN held its 2019 AGM (annual general meeting). During 2019 ICAN was able to generate revenue while developing a strong connection with community partners for animal care and fundraising efforts, meanwhile assisting 156 companion animals. The Board of Directors added two new members for seven in total, allowing all executive positions to be filled and resulting in three Members at Large. The AGM had a record number of members (31) turn out for an important vote on the possible purchase of property, which was passed by a great majority of members. Currently due to COVID our shelter is closed to visitors until further notice. In addition we will assist with Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) of feral cats if funding allows us to do so.
