Rescuing, Sheltering and Rehoming Companion Animals in the Columbia Valley of BC since 2007

Chance

Chance –   ADOPTED – going home mid-July – New Name – Chase
Male – Black/Grey Tabby

Birthdate:  May 8, 2018

Chance was brought into ICAN with his sister Cassie on June 5, 2018 after having been found orphaned and needing assistance.

Thank you to the concerned citizens who cared, and brought these little ones to the shelter so they could receive the experienced help and nourishment they required to survive.

After a couple of transition days with an ICAN volunteer, we are happy report both are going to make it just fine, are currently in foster care and will be ready to go to their new homes within the next 4 weeks.   Little early to tell you much about personalities, but no doubt in foster’s mind these two little survivors are going to be lovely companions.   They are quiet, wide-eyed and playful.

Chance is the darker of the two and they are very bonded and smart.   Already litter trained and past bottle feeding when we got them, they are also very comfortable with humans and other cats.  Both are curious and active little purring machines and it won’t take them long to come up to their ideal weights.

ADOPTED June 12, 2018 together with his sister Cassie
