The support ICAN has received from businesses and individuals since our inception in 2007 has been incredible.
Visitors and part-time residents as well as our year round local residents have been very supportive of ICAN‘s mission. Each of us doing just one positive thing for the animals we share this world with, makes our Valley a better place for all.
There are many ways to support ICAN and your own animals as well. Bring your children down to visit the shelter and learn about the companions there, volunteer, spread the word, spend quality time with your own companion animals, speak out against animal abuse or neglect, foster, attend events and fundraisers, join our Facebook page, help your children make cat or dog toys and donate them to a shelter — there are many ways you can make a difference in the lives of animals without spending a dime!
We are hopeful that one day this valley can boast that we have no homeless animals roaming alone on the streets. Together we can make this a reality.
Thank you all for your continued support, for supporting our mission, for entrusting us to provide assistance to needy companions in our valley, and for making it possible for us to continue helping animals in need.
As with any non-profit organization, we depend on our dedicated and caring Volunteers. If you have any time available and would like to explore being a volunteer, we would love to hear from you. Whether it is working from home doing administrative functions, or helping around the facility with projects, or just stopping by once a week to spend some time socializing with our “in care” animals, we welcome new helpers. Write, phone or send us a Volunteer Application.
