Sheena

Female – Grey & Brown Tabby – Estimated Birthdate: September 8, 2019

Sheena is one of 3 kittens brought to ICAN for socialization and neutering after being born in a farm yard. Her siblings are Shavon and Sean. All three are in ICAN foster care at the moment. Sheena is a lovely short grey-brown tabby girl. She is quite timid as she came into ICAN foster care, trying to intimidate with hisses and paw swipes although the swipes are less frequent and the hisses less fierce. She is an expert at finding out-of-the-way hiding places as she works her way through becoming more comfortable with humans.

Update: November 11, 2019 Of the 3 siblings who came into ICAN foster care on Oct 20, 2019, Sheena was by far the most frightened and she has come around leaps and bounds – literally.   Play, play, play!  She is lean and moves FAST!
She is now approaching humans on her own looking for cuddles and opportunities to purr 😊  If she were a human, you would call her soft-spoken.
When she’s not zipping around in play, she is quite happy to quietly find a little corner to curl up in. She also stands back at mealtime – and just waits for her own special dish.  Sheena is going to make some lucky family very happy.   She’s independent and curious, and is not a kitten who would want a lot of handling.   She will come cuddle, but at her own pace.
