ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 2023
Missy is approximately 1.5yrs old, she is very affectionate and playful. Missy gets along well with other cats, however, is not fond of dogs.
Missy is spayed, vaccinated and de wormed to date.
ZEUS
Currently in foster care. Zeus is a beautiful fluffy grey tuxedo male approximately 12yrs old. He wants a forever home to enjoy, Zeus loves his humans!! Foster or foster to adopt and enjoy this well mannered, lovable, cuddly gentleman. Fill out an application for Zeus today!!
AURORA
ADOPTED JULY 2023
Aurora is a very sweet, spayed female who is almost a year old and is dreaming of her forever home. Aurora loves the outdoor catio and watching the birds fly by.
Aurora and her sister (Amelia) are very affectionate and bonded and hope to be adopted together. Aurora gets along well with the other cats. Aurora has a cream tip on her tail which is adorable.
Sadie
Sadie – Female – Black
Birthdate: July 26, 2014
Sadie came to ICAN with her sister as a kitten, sadly she’s still waiting for that special someone to come along, and part of the reason may be her black coat.
She can also be timid of strangers, but has made great strides at becoming braver with all the gentle attention she’s been getting. Sadie loves the company of other cats but would do OK in a quiet understanding home with only gentle humans to dote on her. Sadie should be an indoor only kitty.
UPDATE – AUGUST 18, 2018 – Sadie out on trial adoption
Just a short note from the ICAN shelter to let you all know that our longest ever resident has gone on a trial adoption today. Finally after 4 long years Sadie has a chance at having her forever home. If this works out for her she’ll be residing in Windermere, and she will have a brother, a older fellow, hopefully much like Sadie’s friend Flame. Please send out good vibes for Sadie. She is a little sweetheart and really deserves a family of her own.

TWERK – Adult Cat – Tuxedo

Oh yes she does!!! This little muffin has all the moves. If you scratch her back end, she will give it all she’s got! She is an adorable little purr machine who may take a bit of time to be comfortable in a new home, but the wait will be well worth it!

Went to new home with Usain Bolt who was renamed Bolt.
Cricket
Birthdate: June 2, 2011
Cricket is a playful boy who is a little bit shy until he gets to know you. Then he is all about the snuggles and the brushing!
Cricket is a gorgeous sleek all black kitty with a white dot on his chest. He has the appearance of a black panther and the gait of a Lipizzaner stallion, it’s a real pleasure to watch his movement. There isn’t a height he can’t reach it seems. Although Cricket can be timid in unfamiliar surroundings, he comes out with a very secure personality once accustomed. He came to us with Flame as his big brother. Cricket should remain an indoor cat and doesn’t mind other mellow cats.
Cricket is good with kids and gentle dogs. He does do well with other cats, given some time. Whenever we introduce a new cat into ICAN, Cricket throws a couple of the biggest temper tantrums we have ever seen! It actually is very comical and we can’t help but think of a child throwing a tantrum – his are very similar!
He definitely is one of a kind and he would really love to be YOUR boy!

Chanel
Chanel is a very sweet, loving girl, but she has to get to know you first. It takes awhile for her to gain trust or to be comfortable in new surroundings, but once she is comfy, she is a love ball! She has the softest fur in the world too!
Chanel is timid but loves to be petted and brushed. If you have a lot of understanding for her feelings she’ll make an excellent companion in a very quiet household.
She will likely always stay timid but will be ever so grateful to the person that gives her the exact home that she needs. Although she’s been outdoors at one time Chanel should always stay indoors now because of her timid nature. She needs total security and is just waiting for the perfect person to come along and give her that. She is very good natured with other cats and would probably prefer to have a gentle kitty friend in her secure and forever home. Chanel is 2 years old now and has been waiting that long for the right person. ADOPTED – OCTOBER 2015
Tigger
Tigger – Male – Birthdate: October 7, 2010
Garfield and Tigger came in together and would at this point prefer to stay together. They are a couple of bonded and personable cats who will make very good companions for someone as they seem to bond to humans very quickly too.
ADOPTED – FEB 7, 2016 – We are pleased to report that Tigger and Garfield came in together and went together to their new home.

Mitza
Mitza is a large solid grey neutered male and is very affectionate. We show his date of birth as being Mar. 15/12. Mitza is a very unique looking fellow – majestic is the word that comes to mind.
Mitza moved to his new forever home on March 8, 2016. Pictures of him in his new home to follow!
A first update tells us that Mitza has made himself completely at home even with the dogs in the family. It was a pleasure to know Mitza and we’ll miss him.
