Winter was found in Radium by a local motel owner and ICAN was asked to assist in her rescue.   Since coming into our care, she has been spayed and had all her vaccines.

This young girl was left with her brother outside when her people moved away.  Once outside, Winter was in flight mode – she would not let anyone near her for months.  Winter became pregnant and unfortunately, lost all her babies.  A couple of weeks after that happened, she all of a sudden decided that she wanted to live in the comfort of a home again and approached the lady feeding her, full of love, purrs and demanding to go inside!!  What a breakthrough and she hasn’t looked back since.  She is the most affectionate, loving cat with beautiful markings.  She is good with other cats and is quite submissive with them, so she would love to have a feline buddy who doesn’t push her around!  She would also do fine as an only cat – all she really wants these days is humans.

She is SO ready for adoption!
